Whether you're new to the Mooresville area or a "local" exploring a new church home. Maybe you haven't attended church in quite some time. Won't you join us? Folks here will be glad to show you around.

Faith is more than the name of a road here. It is an essential gift in the Christian life. We invite you to experience the heart of our community at New Hope Lutheran in Mooresville, NC. Join us Sundays for worship service, fellowship, and Bible class. And that's not all. There are weekly Bible studies. Whether it's a specific Bible book or a topic rooted in Scripture, you'll want to come back week after week.

Sunday Worship is Easy to Follow

Sunday Mornings 9am-10am

With the aid of screens and bulletin, through Scripture, responsive readings, Creeds, music, prayers, and the sacraments, you attend and participate in the Sunday services. Where you receive God's gracious gifts.

Holy Communion is celebrated on the 2nd and 4th Sundays. We believe and teach that our Lord gives His Body and Blood for the forgiveness of sin, strengthening of faith, and the promise of eternal salvation. We are sinners in need of forgiveness, and we recognize the Body and Blood of Jesus are physically present in, with, and under the bread and wine in the sacrament. Thankful for His grace and mercy, and for His rich blessings, we come as His baptized people in humility and trust to Holy Communion.

And speaking of baptism ("washing with water"), through water, His Word and command, and His triune name, God makes us His dear children placing His name on us. Baptism works forgiveness of sins, rescues from death, the devil, and gives salvation to all who believe this truth. Want to learn more? Talk with Pastor Glenn.

Sunday Bible Study: Acts

(7/08/26) After worship service comes fellowship then adult Bible class. Speaking of fellowship, don’t forget to sign up for a Sunday. The list is in the fellowship hall. Light refreshments needed.

Join member Pastor Bill as he leads a study of the book of Acts. As a second volume to Luke’s Gospel, the Book of Acts continues what “Jesus began to do and teach “(1:1), recording the early progress of the Gospel as Jesus followers took it from Jerusalem throughout Judea, Samaria, and the rest of the Mediterranean world. Acts records how God works through His Word, whether spoken or written, to bring people to faith in Christ.

Maybe there's someone you know who will benefit from this study time, too.

Who: YOU!

What: A study of the Lord's Prayer using the Bible, Our Way Home A Journey through the Lord's Prayer by Rev. Dr. Daniel Paavola, and Luther's Small Catechism.

When: Mondays beginning May 4. We'll start at 1:30pm and end around 2:30pm.

Where: New Hope Lutheran Church

Why: Because it's good to be in God's Word together.

What a great opportunity to invite someone to "come along!"

Did someone say party? New Hope celebrates ten years in ministry in 2026! Thanks to Joanne Cousins for heading up the planning team. We’re looking at a date in October. If you have photos and/or stories from days gone by, please share them.

Coming in August… Favorite Hymn/Song Month!

If you have ever left worship service thinking “I wish we had sung….” Now’s your chance to pick what we sing (as long as we know it!). During July, there will be a blank sheet available in the fellowship area. Please list clearly the hymn/song name, number (if applicable), and version (if applicable) along with your name. In case we need to ask you for clarification. Our wonderful music team will give it their best shot during worship services in August.
